I Love "Bling"!
I have always loved jewelry. I think that comes from my maternal grandmother. Her moto seemed to be "the more glitz the better"!
Although, sometimes she was a little more "over the top" than I would ever feel comfortable with...
I am particularily drawn to silver - don't get me wrong, I like gold, but white metals such silver, white gold, platinum have always drawn my eye.
I also love glass. Clear glass, opaque glass, stained glass, etc. I love the way the light plays off it.
The love of these two items drew me to making jewelry several years ago. In particular, sterling silver beaded jewelry with a variety of glass beads... clear glass, opaque glass, matte glass, colored glass, crystal, lampwork, and on and on and on...
